Once again, I’ve found that Mazelab is a bit of a hit-or-miss for me. They can make coffee that has me thinking about placing another order before I’ve even finished my first cup. But they can also make coffee that I really, really don’t enjoy drinking… Unfortunately, this time it was more of a miss.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but this coffee tastes like overroasted commodity coffee

really good
the flavor notes are more or less present
very "tea-like"
For most people, it’s probably too mild, and other brewing methods that focus on intensity don’t really work for me—maybe it’s just me
It's really expensive; I used to buy it much cheaper, for about 2 CZK/g, which is fine, but anything more expensive than that is just too much; the value for money at full price is so-so
Recipe
Kalita, Solo Dripper, or Orea. It’s more about less extraction than more; they probably roast most of their beans “Gesha-style,” which is why it works so well.
