I was a little worried when my husband gave it to me and I read reviews saying it wasn't very good. But I think it's great coffee! I'm really looking forward to my next cup ;-)
I would have expected it to be slightly fruitier, but it was forgivable (-:

Disappointed. I once had a limited edition/competition coffee from Beansmiths and it was phenomenal. This was neither fish nor fowl and definitely not worth the price.
I tried the official recipe from the roaster's website, I tried my own baseline recipes, nothing helped. It didn't even "magically open up" after 1-1.5 months, as is the case with some coffees.
I'm glad it was 125g and I managed to finish it somehow. 250g would have been torture, or I would have left it to clean the grinder.
Recipe
Preparation method: V60 Official recipe: 95°, 300 ml, 20 g, 720 microns, something like Hoffmann single cup. Then I tried: 90-93°, 250 ml, 15 to 17 g of coffee, 4 to 7 on Fellow Ode Gen.2. (~450-750 micron). 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 1 month, 1.5 months, 2 months from the date of roasting. Low agitation/single pour, multiple pours as in the official recipe.

Price/quality okay
Not a fan of their roasting style
