OTTO is a modern jezva. Goat story comes with a modern version of jezva for all fans of this preparation. A coffee pot that pays homage to one of the world's most famous coffee brewing methods and looks cool enough to display in a modern kitchen. This teapot is also called ibrik, džezva or whatever - the basic shape of these vessels has been perfected over the centuries. Our aim was to bring a new contemporary look.

Anyone who would like to really win with coffee and at the same time stick to traditional customs, could be absorbed by the džezva. In our regions, dzhezva is called Turkish coffee (but be careful not to confuse it with Turk :)), but dzhezva (ibrik, cezve) comes from Yemen, the country where the coffee plant and coffee were first cultivated in the form we know today. It came from Yemen to Turkey during the time of the Ottoman Empire and has since become rooted in Turkish culture.

Give a chance to the traditional Turkish way of preparing coffee in a new modern jacket and the resulting taste will definitely surprise you :)

It can be used on all types of stoves.

Hello, I have found that induction has a problem with small container diameters. Is this also the case here?

Good day, Jiří. Functionality depends on the sensitivity of your specific induction hob. Some modern hobs have trouble detecting cookware with a diameter smaller than 10–12 cm. We therefore recommend checking in advance (e.g., using another small saucepan) whether your hob will accept such a small size without any problems. If the hob does not recognize the cezve, the situation can be resolved by using an induction pad (adapter). Have a nice day! :)
