EK 43S is the smaller but equally as capable brother of the cult favourite Mahlkoenig EK43 grinder. Standing at about 9cm shorter than its towering predecessor, the EK 43S is ideal for smaller brew bars and countertops.  The only difference is that the dimensions of the EK43S body and its hopper are smaller. The grinder guarantees a consistent and even grind, versatility in its use and a fantastic design.

The EK 43S guarantees an even grind every single time- which is an absolutely crucial factor for when you want to produce a consistently reliable and replicable brew- even fractions of a change in particle size affect how much flavour and aroma is extracted from your beans. Probably the most impressive thing about the EK 43 is the fact that it can grind for any type of brewing method- and we really mean any- from a cezve to a french press and anything in between, it has the ability to switch between blends with only a couple grams of coffee in-between needed to season the blades.

The grinding level is adjusted with a handy and well-marked dial. Depending on the coarseness of grinding, this burr grinder can grind anywhere between 1200 to 1500g per minute! It also has a handy holder at the outlet for attaching a bag to grind directly into.

The inside of the grinder hides away powerful hardened steel grinding burrs with a 98 mm diameter and an efficient motor of 1300 W rating.

Not only are the EK's renowned for their reliability and are regarded as guarantors of the highest grind quality, but they are also quite easy on the eyes, and serve as a great addition to any brew bar or speciality coffee shop, with its industrial look and high-quality finishing.

The hopper holds up to 800g of beans.

MAHLKÖNIG test runs each grinder with coffee to ensure optimal grinding performance. This is why you may find ground coffee residue in the grinding mechanism.
