Handling is very easy.
Since I bought the Chemex, I have almost never taken out the plastic dripper.
I cannot complain about the taste of the coffee in any way, in this respect my expectations were exceeded.
The design is even better in real life than in the photo.
Unfortunately, washing the Chemex is no small feat.

Absolutely amazing stuff. For me, the desire to enjoy coffee is enhanced by the ritual preparation (which must also be pleasing to the eye), which in the case of Chemex is an even greater experience. I alternate between different methods of preparing filtered coffee, including Haria, Aeropress..., but Chemex has clearly become "top of the line" :-)

The best invention since the discovery of butter. And then buttered bread.
In all seriousness.
It looks very nice. It's also in the Museum of Modern Art. Who can design.
It is also very good and easy to use. Probably the easiest dripper ever.
Even if some coffee experts and snobs disagree, according to my expertly snobbish self, this is what makes absolutely great coffee.
That is, when you flush the filter. Flush a lot, no kidding.
Filters are a little harder to find (not only when there is a pandemic) and not exactly cheap. The fact that they are all made in the USA does not help.
The filters must be rinsed.
Really rinse a lot.
The approx. 1 liter that each filter eats is really not very eco-friendly. So if you don't recycle the water somehow, then it doesn't matter. For example, for flushing.
